Rach and Daniel got married at the stunning Ballyscullion Park, a gorgeous and relatively new venue in NI. Every single detail was perfect. Willow and Twine made the most amazing florals for the wedding, and Rachel’s aunt Nicola did all the tiny (and not so tiny) amazing details: invites, centre pieces, the top table floral garland, the polaroid backdrop with all the paper flowers, and so much more that I’ve probably forgotten.
Rachel and I met when we were teeny tiny 5 year olds in P1. We went through primary school and secondary school together, and then in July I found myself photographing her on her wedding day. I cannot tell you just how special that was, and I was so honoured to be there with her. I’ve watched Rachel and Daniel begin their journey together at 17 and 18, and then finally cement their love in front of their closest family and friends. And you can bet I did a lot of crying.
You might look through this post and think, “I’ve definitely seen all these people before…”. And that’s because you have! I photographed Rachel’s sister Rebecca’s wedding back in October last year, so if you feel like you’re having déjà vu imagine how it felt for me! Haha!
But the most important detail about Rachel and Daniel’s day was how God filled it was. Their love for each other and their love for God shone through their whole wedding. I am so thankful to have been able to capture that!
