This was my first time shooting a wedding at Larchfield Estate, and I genuinely can’t imagine a more perfect first wedding there than Sarah and Kurtis’ winter wedding. There were Christmas trees, fur shawls and a Taylor Swift table setting theme! What more could you want?!
We started the day off at their little church in Ballyhalbert where Sarah’s Granda performed the marriage ceremony. Not sure if it was my camera that went a bit blurry, or if it was the fact that I was tearing up behind the lens!
After the ceremony we drove to Larchfield Estate for the wedding reception. I can imagine that it’s a beautiful venue in the summer, but in the winter it’s something else! The twinkly lights in the greenhouse and the Christmas trees everywhere made the whole day seem magical.
The night was topped off with a choreographed dance from Kurtis and his groomsmen! I have never witnessed anything like it, and I don’t think I will again! It was the perfect amount of funny, and quite frankly impressive!
I hope you enjoy looking at Sarah and Kurtis’ Larchfield Estate wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it!
